Confidence, Creativity & Communication

Our younger classes are designed to help children enjoy drama while developing skills that can support them at school, at home & in social situations.

Building Early Confidence

Drama gives children opportunities to speak, contribute ideas & try new activities in a supportive group.

Children do not need to be naturally outgoing. Quieter pupils can join in at their own pace, becoming more comfortable as they get to know the facilitators, activities & other children.

Inspiring Young Imaginations

Children might become animals, explore imaginary settings, solve creative problems or step into characters from familiar stories.

These activities encourage children to use their imagination freely while learning how to express their ideas through words, movement & play.

Learning Through Teamwork

Drama is a shared activity. Children practise listening, taking turns, responding to others & contributing to a group.

Working together can help pupils develop communication skills, form friendships & understand that every person has something valuable to offer.

 A Gentle Introduction To Drama

Little Rascals sessions balance playful exploration with a clear structure that helps younger children feel comfortable.

Activities are planned around the needs of Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 pupils. Children are encouraged to participate without being placed under unnecessary pressure, giving them time to become familiar with creative group learning.

As children grow, they can explore the next stages of their drama journey through our wider programme of classes for different school age groups.

Our aim is for each child to leave their session feeling encouraged, included & excited to return.
