Each class encourages children to:
-
Build confidence and communication skills

Develop imagination through creative drama games
-
Work collaboratively as part of a team
-
Explore acting and stagecraft through play and rehearsal
No experience is needed, just curiosity, enthusiasm, and imagination.

What Happens in Junior School Age Drama Classes?
Each term, our students explore a wide range of drama skills and creative expression. Through improvisation and rehearsal, they develop their ability to listen, create, and perform with growing confidence.
During the year, children work together with our facilitation team to stage a full production for friends and family. Our shows are written especially for Bristol Academy of Drama, ensuring every child has a meaningful role and can fully take part in the creative process. This is an exciting opportunity to celebrate what they’ve learned and experience the joy of performing with costumes, props, and lighting in a professional environment, often held at the impressive Mackinnon Theatre.
Our classes remain relaxed and inclusive, allowing every child to enjoy themselves and feel proud of their achievements. Drama should be fun, and that’s exactly what we aim for in every session.
