Our Shadow Theatre workshop is a fun-filled drama workshop offering children aged 11-15 years the opportunity to learn new skills and explore the wonderful world of Shadow Theatre. They will spend the three days learning new skills and will devise, rehearse and perform a short piece which will be shared with an audience of family and friends on the final day.

Throughout the 3 days, the group will explore how to perform using Shadow Theatre. Students will learn devising, improvisation and physical theatre techniques, as well as create characters, discuss and devise scenes to build their performance. This process is designed to develop creative thinking, build skills and confidence, and encourage teamwork.

Students will work together to create their own story, with a focus on building skills and letting their imagination run wild. There is so much to explore in the wonderful, ancient art of Shadow Theatre. There is no limit to what can be achieved in this short time; anything is possible! Who knows what worlds their audiences will be transported to?

Sign up now for 3 days of building fun memories, learning new skills and making new friends!

Due to limited spaces available, it is recommended that parents/guardians book early to avoid disappointment. Early Bird and Sibling Discounts available, simply email us at bristolacademyofdrama@gmail.com for discount codes and booking information.

All students will need to bring is their willingness to get stuck in, their imagination, comfy clothing and plenty of food and drink to keep their energy levels up.
